As the Terra platform continues breaking apart the new details about Do Kwon, Luna investors and his wife came up.
Terra platform founder Do Kwon tries to save his LUNA/UST tokens which totally collapsed last week.
Recently Kwon proposed a plan to restore the network with a hard fork from Luna and a new token LUNC (Terra Classic). But South Korean authorities requested his parliamentary hearing on the Terra platform case.
The company lawyers also reportedly resigned right after the Terra platform crash, giving less hope to the LUNA/UST holders.
Some of them even become suicidal, media says. And there are also Kwon’s private life threats.
No fun Reddit tread about Do Kwon and Luna
Lately, some LUNA investors posted on Reddit that those who had lost everything were suicidal.
“My friend and ex-colleague (my manager for 15 years) tried to commit suicide this morning. He basically moved all of his savings to crypto in 2021 and LUNA was a massive player in his portfolio,” the Redditor wrote.
The user advises not to overestimate the value of money and come to people who love you.
In a related report, according to a post on the most recent tweeter of @EmperorBTC Reports, 22 investors committed suicide after the price of LUNA plummeted close to zero.
LUNA admins posted suicide control hotline numbers on the subreddit, where investors published their losing money stories.
Some holders lost all their savings (from $5000 to $400 000) and fell into complete despair. Others are trying to encourage them and fight suicidal thoughts.
Do Kwon’s wife scared of the intruder
Forkast reported that an unidentified individual broke into the apartment complex where Do Kwon’s wife resides.
It says that after Kwon’s wife answered the door, the individual asked for the company’s founder and then fled the scene.
Authorities in Seoul’s Seongdong-gu district informed that Kwon’s wife has been provided with immediate security protection.
“Seoul police confirmed with Forkast by phone that a man identified only as Kim had turned himself in after gaining illegal entry to the complex where Do Kwon and his wife have an apartment in Seoul’s Seongdong-gu district,” the media writes.
The Kim intruder can be a crypto investment streamer on a local online platform AfreecaTV who claims he lost around $2 million in LUNA.
Right now Reddit users and other communities are gathering signatures. They are threatening to file class-action lawsuits against Do Kwon and the founders of Luna and Terra.
